What is VubaVert?

VubaVert is a single-component resin supplied in a 1kg pouch, specifically designed for easy and accurate mixing with marble aggregates for vertical applications. It’s ideal for use on walls, steps, pool copings, and a variety of other vertical or detailed surfaces.

Step By Step VubaVert

Apply the Tack Coat

Open the pouch and apply the VubaVert to the vertical surface using a scraper or a trowel. For highly pourous surfaces, you can at first apply an initial thin application of tack cot and allow this to soak in , and then apply the tack coat over the surface as normal. A 1kg VubaVert pouch covers approximately 17.22sqft when used as a tack coat.

Add Grip to the Surface

Use a scraper or trowel to press into the tack-coated surface and fluff it up slightly. This creates a textured finish that gives the Vuba Stone kit a strong and secure bond so it is ready for the mixed product to be applied.

Mixing Aggregate and VubaVert

Weigh out 5.5 lbs of aggregate from each bag in your kit to total 22 lbs. Combine this in a pail with the 1 kg pouch and mix thoroughly using a paddle mixer. Each mixed kit will cover 8.60sqft when applied to the vertical surface.

Apply the Mixed Product

Use a trowel to apply the product to the surface at a maximum depth of 3/8″. Start at the bottom and work upwards when applying the product, ensuring you apply pressure so the material bonds securely.
